I don't think the noodles you use in jjolmyeon are regular flour noodles.

But it's ambiguous to say it's a glass noodle.

What kind of side is it?

It's similar to noodles, but there's a different type of jjolmyeon.
It's similar to naengmyeon, but it's different.
I heard that jjolmyeon was made by mistake while trying to make naengmyeon.
