Can I remove the shadow effect from the window desktop icon?

If you look at the window desktop icon, it has a shadow effect.

1. Start -> Run to display the Run window.
2. Enter System Properties Advanced.
3. On the Advanced tab, press the Settings button in the Performance section.
4. Select the Visual Effects tab.
5. Select the check button for 'Use shadow on icon label on desktop' from the check box below as not displayed.
6. Restart the window.
