What exactly is an inverter air conditioner?
I don't know why it consumes less electricity than regular air conditioners.
As far as I know, an inverter is a device that converts an alternating current into a direct current, so how is it related to eating less electricity?

I don't know exactly
I heard that regular air conditioners do not have a speed control function because they turn the motor by receiving alternating current as it is.
So it keeps sending wind at a certain intensity until it drops to a certain temperature.
When the temperature is reached, the motor turns off.
It uses a lot of electricity because it lowers the temperature by turning the motor harder than the temperature even if it goes up a little bit.
I heard that the inverter air conditioner can control the speed because it is used by changing the alternating current to DC.
The good thing about this is that when the temperature reaches and the temperature rises a little, it turns on the motor to lower the temperature, so it uses electricity much more efficiently.

It's described in detail here.
Inverter air conditioners don't always consume less electricity.
I know that you eat less if you want to keep it on at a certain temperature.
It doesn't mean much if you just set it up once and then turn it off.
