Can I run a specific program while shutting down Windows?

I'd like to have a specific program run when I close the window and then shut down the system.

Is this possible?

In the Windows key+r > Run window, in the gpedit.msc Input > Local Group Policy Editor, press the Windows Settings > Select Scripts > Select System Shutdown > Add button, and then select the desired program.
