Does baking soda really remove pesticides when washing vegetables or fruits?

On the blog, there's an article that says that if you use baking soda when washing vegetables or fruits, pesticides will be removed.

I don't know if this is right or not because there are many posts that I just read while others are talking without an exact basis.

Can baking soda really remove pesticides when washing vegetables or fruits?

I've seen experiments before, and the bottom line is that it's best to just wash it in running water

From what you said above, baking soda is alkaline anyway, so it must be meaningful only for acidic pesticides.
Thanks to you, I got good information.
