If you open the Internet Explorer window, the advertisement window also appears, so why is that?

When you open the Internet Explorer window, you can see several windows along with the advertisement window even if you click it once.

What's wrong with this?

I think it's ad-ware

It's because there's adware.
I would have installed the optional adware while installing other programs.
Look up the Add/Remove Programs list in the Control Panel for adware or something like Adware.
