How is your job as a web developer?

web-developer employment

I'm thinking of changing jobs because I don't like what I'm doing now.

I'm thinking about doing something completely different while I'm changing jobs.

I don't know anything about developers, but I think it'll be fun, and I'm attracted to web development.

I didn't major in college, so I'm thinking about learning while attending an academy and then getting a job.

How about actually getting a job in the web developer side?

When I asked a question to a Naver intellectual, only the advertisements for the academy came up and posted the question here.

If you're actually in this industry or have ever gotten a job, please give me some advice~

About 10 years ago, the web development side was huge because of the boom in the web side, producing huge mass-production developers through computer academies.
So the salary was really low.
Some say that the reason why wages and development costs for IT, especially computers, are low was because there were too many developers mass-produced through job academies at this time.
But the wage situation is still not good.
It seems comfortable because I usually work indoors, but I have a lot of work.
There are a lot of weekend work and overtime work, and it's not an atmosphere that pays.
I talked about the bad sideIf it's a good thing, if you like development work, you can have fun.
If you like computers, you can make money by touching them every day.

Among the developers' jobs, web developers have the lowest annual salary.
The most popular one right now is the app developer.
You can expect a better salary if you learn Java and develop the app.

It's not a reply, but there are too many advertisements posted on Naver's intellectuals.
Especially for questions like this, there are a lot of advertisements for academies and certificates.
I think it's good because there's nothing like that here.

It's someone in this industry.
To explain the global trend...
The developer's salary is among the highest in the profession.
Especially in the United States, wages continue to rise because there are not many majors while development personnel are needed more and more.
So even small and medium-sized companies tend to receive more than 100 million won if they have some experience.
If it's a good company like Google and Facebook, the starting salary for new employees is more than 100 million won.
Compared to that, Korea is less than half of its annual salary even if it has the same experience.
The reason is that it is difficult for Korean developers to go abroad because they are not good at English
There are many developers still active (and there was a large supply of developers until the early 2000s). Since then, the popularity of engineering has plummeted, and the number of people majoring in computers has decreased a lot, and in the long run, the manpower is decreasing.)
This is because, as No. 1 said, the image of low-cost developers and low production costs created in the early 2000s continues.
This is not much different from the development of large companies in Korea.
If you are good at English, wages and working conditions will improve if there are not many developers in Korea because you are out in the United States.
I can't speak English, so I have to find a job in Korea
There are a lot of people who want to work in Korea
It's not improving yet.
There are so few computer majors right now, so I think it will change in the next 10 to 20 years, but it will still take time.
Indians who are good at English, or many Chinese people anywhere, enter the United States a lot.
There are quite a few people in the IT industry.
So if you're going to start, you'd better start with a big picture.
