I bought a ram for a PC, do they usually wrap it in foil?

I bought a PC ram, but it wasn't packed in a box, but it was wrapped in foil and sent to me.

It's a little absurd to see that there's no box.

I think it's used for some reason...

Do you normally wrap it in foil?

Or should I get an exchange?

If you buy Samsung or Hynix RAM, it comes in foil.

There was a time when it was packaged in a box, but I heard it was only done briefly then.
It's usually wrapped in foil.
I don't know why it's tinfoil kk

I heard that foil is so cheap to prevent static electricity.

I understand that when Samsung sells ram, 25 units sell a box.
So when you sell one by one like a bulk, you wrap it in foil and sell it.
