The burn marks on the pot are too sticky, but no matter how much I wash it with kitchen detergent, it won't wash.

How can I remove it?

Add baking soda and vinegar, add water and bring to a boil.

I don't agree with what you said ^^;
Baking soda is alkaline and vinegar is acidic
When you mix them together, it just produces salt and water.
I think that's why it's less effective.
