smartphone youtube news-agency

The YouTube video I saw on my smartphone came out as a list of what I watched.

I went into YouTube and deleted it.

Can the carrier know what I saw?

YouTube has nothing to do with the carrier because it uses Wi-Fi.
Even if you saw it in 3g or lte, the carrier does not know because it is not monitoring the communication packets of a specific user.

It's not about YouTube,
In the past, there was a story that the telecommunication company analyzed the network packets used by individuals and used them for other purposes.
But YouTube uses the https protocol.
In the case of https, it is encrypted, so even if you intercept packets in the middle, you cannot know the contents.
So the carrier doesn't know what information the individual is looking at.
In other words, sites with addresses beginning with https are secure.
Come to think of it, Life QnA here also uses https kk
