How do we deal with plastic melting?

The plastic part of the umbrella handle I'm using melts and is sticky.

It doesn't melt even if I wipe it with a detergent, but it just rubs off like caramel, so it won't wash off.

Is there a good way?

It's because the urethane melted
If you use more than 80% ethyl alcohol, you can make it very clean
