I think it's best to ask at the as center
I think it's the smell of burning the heat inside
It might smell like burning because of food or oil on the heat
Use baking soda and wipe it off
It happened to me before, so I read the instructions and they said it's bad if there's foreign substances on the heat
I'm fine after cleaning up
