What language do Windows use to develop these days?

I used to do Windows development as a hobby with MFC.

I've never developed anything else.

I was wondering what language Windows uses these days.

There are a lot of app development information, but I don't know what Windows uses and doesn't seem like a lot of people developing Windows

It's C#
I think someone who knows how to do Python has developed Windows as a hobby

MFC moved on to C#
And C# is much easier

For Windows, C# is the answer
It's much more comfortable than when I was in the mfc
