I'm on a diet and squats to lose weight on my thighs. If I do squats, it's hard to do it because I feel dizzy.

I think it's because the breathing method is wrong. When you sit down, breathe in and out as you stand up.
I think it's because you can't breathe if you do it too fast. When you do it, it's good to do it slowly and in harmony.
