It's a new world to change to Chrome while using Internet Explorer. I was wondering why Chrome is faster.
I don't think Microsoft would have slowed it down on purpose because it doesn't have technology. Is there a reason?

The reason why ie is extremely slow is crucially because of Activex. Of course, it's slower than Chrome even without Activex.
Chrome is fast because you put it on the memory in advance. Instead, it consumes a lot of memory.
Chrome uses GPUs in addition to the CPU. We use as much computer resources as we can. So it's also true that it consumes a lot of system resources.
