Since QC15 is a kernel-type earphone and QC25 is an in-ear earphone, QC15 is considered to be more faithful to the noise cancelling function.
We've tested performance at About.com and Innerfidelity.
This suggests that QC25 is slightly less insulative than QC15 in About.com, but QC25 is -28 dB more insulative than QC15's -26 dB in Innerfidelity terms.
So you can say that it's similar if you use either of them.
