How about mixing regular and high-quality gasoline?

general-gasoline high-grade-gasoline car

My car recommends an octane rating of 95 or higher.

But when you look at the gasoline actually sold in Korea,

General gasoline: octane 91.5-92.5

High-end gasoline: octane 99-101

It's like this.

That means that if you mix the two in half, you can match it to about 95.

How about mixing it?

Octane value is a measure of the degree to which abnormal ignition (knocking/natural ignition) is not achieved.
So, the higher the octane value, the less knocking.
And the higher the octane value, the less abnormal the explosion that occurs when you burn.
In other words, the higher the octane, the more completely burned.
Theoretically, you can mix them together, but I'm not sure if it's easy to get the ratio to 95 kk

By legal standards, it was more than 91 for regular gasoline and 94 for high-end gasoline.
If it's 3, there's not much difference.
Even if you add a little bit of high quality gas, I think you'll get 94 right.

Mixing is not recommended.
The reason is because of the ECU.
The ECU is learning fuel information because every time the fuel information changes, it puts pressure on the engine to correct the information again, causing something like knocking.
If you mix it, it is difficult to always accurately match the octane price, so the ECU continues to correct it.
So it's not good to put regular and high-quality gasoline alternately.

For the same reason, it is recommended to choose only one gas station.
