How do I make dongchimi sweet?

dongchimi-(korean-radish-kimchi) cooking

I made dongchimi, but after cooking it for a few days, it only tastes sour.

If you eat it at a restaurant, it tastes sweet, so how do you make it so sweet?

Do you add sugar?

They say they add saccharin or sugar, but I don't want to use artificial sweeteners like that.

Can't you just naturally taste it?

The reason why restaurants taste sweet and sour is that they often use sugar or Sprite.
If you're going to do it naturally, you can use fruits.
The most commonly used one is ground onions and pears to give you a sweet taste.
