What's the good thing about foundation compared to cushion?

I've been using cushion pacts, but I've never used foundation. If you look at

, you seem to use foundation a lot. What's the good thing about foundation compared to cushion pacts?

I just thought it would be more cumbersome to use a brush to apply it.
