Is it okay if it's not my card when I book a hotel in Japan?

I was wondering if I could use my family card.

They want me to bring my credit card even if I pay in advance on the website, but do they ask me to show them?

According to Hotel's dotcom and Agora regulations, it says to bring the card you used to pay on the website in advance
I haven't seen a place where they want to see it
