How do hotel towels make it feel stiff?

When you use a towel at a hotel, it feels like it's dry, if you say it's stiff, unlike at home.

No matter how well I dry it at home, it doesn't feel like this, how do I do this?

The hotel is probably possible because it uses a dryer.
If you just dry it naturally, the weather is not always good, so it's hard to feel dry all the time.
