Is the noise cancelling function still working?

Or does it work only when I turn on a small music?

I don't know if all the products are the same, but from my experience of using Boss and Sony products, noise cancelling is done as soon as earphones are turned on.

But after some time, noise cancellation doesn't work as well as you think
I can't really hear what people are saying, but I can hear them making sounds
It's better not to expect too much
