Why is engine oil decreasing?

The engine oil keeps decreasing, so I put it in every few months.

I don't know why the engine oil is decreasing, but if you just put it in, it doesn't leak anywhere, shouldn't it just be in there?

Even if it evaporates, it doesn't seem to evaporate that much because it's oil.
