That's true in terms of calories consumed, but the two have different purposes.
If you do something heavy, your muscles get bigger and your muscles get stronger.
If you do something light, your muscles don't grow and your endurance increases.
Holding heavy weights is usually called bulk-up for the purpose of building big muscles.
I'm going to use the light ones to get rid of the small muscles.
