Why is the smartphone getting hot?

Sometimes my smartphone gets hot even though I don't use an app.

When that happens, it gets better if you turn off and on your phone.

Why is this like that?

Did anyone have the same symptoms?

It's because I keep working in the background even if I write and close a specific app.
You can find out which apps are like that by closing them one by one.
If it's annoying, you can just close all the apps without turning off your phone.
