If I need a CD when I use a laptop, how can I use it?

I need to look at the data in the CD, but I don't have a CD-ROM in my laptop.

How can I read CD data on my laptop in this case?

I don't think there's any other way but to have an external CD-ROM.

If you really need CD data,
I think you can take out the data from the desktop with CD-ROM and send it to your laptop.

If you need a CD to install the program,
You can't just pull out the CD data.
You can scoop a CD image from a computer with a CD-ROM and save it in a place like usb, and then plug the usb into your laptop.
