I sprained my ankle while playing basketball with my friends. I put on a pain relief patch for about a week, thinking it would be okay, but my ankle is swollen and I feel like it hurts continuously.
I'm looking into going to the hospital, which one should I go to, orthopedics or oriental medicine?
I've never been to an oriental clinic, but I heard that it's best to go to an oriental clinic when my friend has a sprain. Do you go a lot?
I'm thinking of going to an oriental medicine clinic, but I'm worried that it might hurt.ㅠ<

I try to go to an oriental medicine clinic. Even in orthopedics, physical therapy is done in the end, but oriental medicine clinics do physical therapy and acupuncture together, so it was better. It's your first time getting it, so I'm not sure if you know, but interestingly enough, it gets better quickly.lol
It depends on the case, so go to the orthopedic department and take an X-ray first. Usually, if you have inflammation or are simply surprised by your muscles, it doesn't matter to orthopedics or oriental medicine clinics, but if your ligament is stretched or your muscles are injured, you have to go to orthopedics.
Orthopedic surgery if you're hurt a lot, oriental medicine if you're not hurt a lot. I recommend oriental medicine clinic.LOL For your information, it doesn't hurt. Don't worry
As the person above said, I recommend you to go to the hospital and take an X-ray or mri first.
