Why is it bitter when you cook with curry powder?

I cooked with this because I have curry powder at home.

I made curry rice, but it tastes much more bitter than the curry I knew.

Is it because the curry is old or deteriorated?

Or is curry originally bitter?

It's not famous curry powder, but it's my first time seeing it, but I don't know what it tastes like because it's unfamiliar.

I think she bought pure curry powder.
Pure curry powder tastes very different from regular curry.
If it's too much, it's bitter.
It is recommended to add a little curry and something else to match the taste.
