Does attendance rate affect your grades a lot when you take university classes?

I missed a class because I had work, but I don't know what will happen.

I guess you're a freshman in college because you're curious about the attendance rate.
When I was in 1st and 2nd grade, I skipped a lot of classes LOL

I don't know because each professor is different.
Among the classes I take, there was a subject where I got an F if I was absent seven times.
It was a bit of an unusual case, and it didn't really affect my grades once or twice.
