If I print about 50 sheets a month, which one would be better, an ink printer or a laser printer?

I think I'll print a lot of reports.

The inkjet looks better.

Are you choosing between ink or laser because you think you need to print a lot?
I don't think using either ink or laser will reduce the cost much.
Generally, lasers are expensive, but I use them because they print out quickly and neatly
