Incheon or Ganghwado Island is closer to Seoul, but Incheon is prettier. Go to Eulwangri Beach in Incheon, eat grilled clams, and go to a nearby cafe to walk around the beach.

The East Sea is the best. Go to Gangneung. You can go there in 3 hours from Seoul, and there's a cafe street on Anmok Beach in Gangneung, so if you come back after drinking coffee, it'll be perfect for you. Strongly recommended!
