Can I connect several routers instead of switching hubs?

I know that if you use a switching hub, you can plug in a lot of wires.

I think it's too much to buy a switching hub, so I'm thinking of applying the extra router.

Prepare an existing router, an additional router...
1. Connect the WAN exclusion port of the existing router and the WAN exclusion port of the additional router by LAN.
2. Turn off the DHCP function of the additional router.
