The master of confectionery is the best technician selected annually by the Ministry of Labor in Korea for each technical field through document screening and interviews.
It began in 1986, and the first master in the confectionery sector was born in 2000. As it is selected as a master craftsman, it receives a master craftsman certificate and a skill incentive, and is appointed as a judge of various skill competitions-related events.
