Would it be better to add a RAM to a computer that is about 5 years old?

I've been using this computer for about 5 years.

The RAM is 8GB... The price of RAM is very cheap these days.

I'm not good at games, but sometimes I stutter when I open a lot of chrome windows.

I'm thinking of 16th generation.
