How many inches of luggage should I carry when I travel abroad for a month?

I've been on a month's trip to the U.S.

I've never been this long, so I didn't know how big a suitcase to carry.

If you've traveled abroad for a month... How much luggage did you take?

It depends on the date, but I think 24 inches is enough if it's not winter
I like to wash clothes anyway

In the summer, it's good to wash and wear it
If I have to bring winter clothes, I need a lot of luggage, so I think a big suitcase would be better
