How should I study English for traveling abroad?

I'd like to learn English for overseas travel, not for the purpose of getting a score after taking a test.

I didn't speak English well in school.I'd like to go on a trip abroad. How should I study English that I can use on a trip?

If it's a hobby, there is a course that native English instructors do at an English academy.
It's helpful to do that consistently.
