There are times when my AirPods get disconnected, but is it more than a device?

I'm using the iPhone 8 on my AirPods.

It's sometimes cut off.

It's really like it's cut off and then reconnected, but it's very uncomfortable.

Is this more than a device?

If you're using AirPods, borrow it and test it on your phone
It could be a cell phone problem
