Are cherries the same or different?

Some people say cherries are English and others say they look different, but I don't know which one is right.

It's different.
There are many people who often confuse cherry with cherry in English.
Cherry tree fruit is cherry, cherry tree fruit is cherry.

Birch refers to the cherry tree fruit, and there are oriental and European families. Orientalism is of low value as a fruit. European originates from the Black Sea coast and is now cultivated in the southern part of Korea due to its high value as a fruit. European families have sweet persimmons (sweet cherries) and fresh acid fruits (sour cherries). Persimmons are used for raw fruits and obstetrics are used for processed dishes. Korean traditional cherries have been called black cherries as one person. Traditional species are less juicy and black in color, so they were made into cherry soju and eaten.

There are many kinds of cherries in this content, and these fruits seem to be called cherries in English.
Just because there are many species, the commercially available cherry species seems to mean European cherries.
