How do you know how beauty YouTubers are filmed?

When beauty YouTubers shoot, they're going to put on makeup looking at the camera. How do they know how it's filmed?

I don't think it's a phone camera and I think it's a good camera, but I don't think you can see it because the LCD screen is on the other side.

It's hard to do it even when looking at the mirror. I think it's amazing if you don't look at all.
