Can I charge my iPhone well with the USB terminal of the computer?

If I charge my iPhone with a computer usb terminal, it doesn't work. But it's getting really slow. It takes about twice as long to fully charge.

Is it normally this slow?

Or is it more than a computer?

To charge the iPhone, it should be 1A, but as far as I know, USB is not that good

USB standard charge capacity is 0.5A
As you said, it takes twice as long
