Is it too much to buy a duck down padded jacket?

I bought a Goose lightweight padded jacket, but I remember it was quite cold last year.

I wonder if it's because it's too light.

Is it a little weird to buy a duck down padded jacket?

When I wore it in the store, it didn't seem too heavy.

I'm worried if it's going against the times by itself.

Some are Duck Down, but they're lighter than Goose Down
It's warm

If the price or design is good, I think it'd be good to just buy it
I don't think there's much difference in functionality even if I wear both
