Can I go to another company before the contract ends?

I've been working as a contractor for about a month. I got a call from the place I put my resume in the past, so I'm asking for an interview

It hasn't been decided yet, but I'm curious what happens if it's decided to get a job.

I'm not sure if it's possible to quit in the middle of a one-year contract.

Is it possible to quit my current company and move?

Or if it's a one-year contract, can it be a problem until the contract is over?
