If I want to exfoliate, how much do I soak it after applying it and then push it to exfoliate?

Or can I just apply it and shave it right away?

When I just push it, it feels like the contents are tangled

You can start pushing right after you put it on. If the contents get tangled, you can think of it as exfoliates
