Is it okay to turn on the NAS 24 hours a day, 365 days a year?

I bought a Synology NAS.

Is it okay to turn this on 24/7 like a server?

Or is it better to turn it on when you use it like a PC and turn it off when you don't use it?

I was wondering if you needed a reboot once.
