Abbreviation for Too Much Information
TMI is an abbreviation of "too much information" and is an Internet term used when you unexpectedly learn too much detail or personal information about someone on SNS. It has been used in the English-speaking Internet for a long time, but in Korea, it began to be used mainly on Twitter in the second half of 2017. It has some meaning in common with Anmul Angung, which has been used since then.
