Is there a big difference of three generations compared to the second generation of Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaners?

I'm looking for Xiaomi's robot vacuum cleaner, and I heard that there will be 3G soon. Is there a big 3G difference compared to 2G?

I'm thinking about waiting for the 3rd generation or the 2nd generation.
