I'd like to learn Chinese.
I've never learned Chinese as a second language, but I don't have any Chinese characters other than what I learned in school.
Would it be difficult to learn Chinese by myself?

I recommend an academy rather than self-taught because of the intonation.
If you learn the wrong intonation at first, it's hard to fix it because of your habit.
I also recommend cram schools because of the intonation.
You don't have to go around for a long time, but it's better to go for at least a month or two.
