I'm riding a diesel car.
What should I do when the car smoke reduction device warning light flashes?

If there is a lot of smoke residue in the diesel particle filter (DPF), this warning lamp flashes.
Diesel cars have their own purification function.
It's a way to burn while running.
To burn quickly, use 2,500 rpm at a speed of more than 60km and run for about 20 minutes to burn all the accumulated smoke debris.
If there is a lot of short-distance driving in the city, the smoke reduction device warning indicator will come on if the smoke residue collected by the DPF is not burned properly.
If left continuously, the DPF will be clogged with soot and the exhaust will not be smooth, resulting in poor output.
If the DPF accumulates more than a certain amount of smoke residue, it is burned by exhaust heat by DPF regeneration.
High speed driving is required to increase exhaust heat.
It will be solved if you drive for about 30 minutes at a speed of 80 to 100km/h.
