Is it good to join a club when you enter a university?

I'm a freshman going to college this time. I heard that it's good to raise a club.

I'm usually uncomfortable if I'm not a close friend, and I like to stay at home.

So I'm not sure if it's good to join a club, but is it good to do it?

Or is there no problem in college life even if you don't listen to it?

You don't have to join a club. We could do something else at that time.

I didn't attend the club at all, but it didn't affect me I don't even think about it

Rather than saying it helps right away, you can make personal connections and get recommendations, but that's pretty rare, too
