What is the Korean text message if I use a local USIM when I travel abroad?

When I travel abroad, I will use local USIM because local USIM is cheap.

Then I will leave out Korean USIM.

What happens to the texts in the meantime?

Does it just disappear?

Or if I plug in a Korean USIM later, will the things I received come in all at once?
